Meet The Huba Sisters – Group Finalist

What church does your group base out of?
The Apostolic Church of Tallahassee

How long have you been singing together?
Since the youngest Huba sister could sing a note.

How does your group minister in your local church or district?
The Huba Sisters are all heavily involved in the music ministries at ACT from playing, singing and directing. They perform during outreach opportunities at the North Florida Fair and Winter Festival in Tallahassee. They also assist with the music at District events, from praise singing to specials. They are singing at Florida Camp meeting this year. Tiffany has been working with the Youth Department to establish the Florida All State Youth Choir; she is also the music minister at their church. At ACT, Charity directs the Junior Choir and heads up the youth band. Shenae has an EP in which she has recorded with Urshan Recording Studios that has blessed others with her original Apostolic songs. She also recently finished a Music internship at the Apostolic Church of Barberton.

What motivated you to enter NATS 2013?
The Huba Sisters love worshipping and ministering with music. Being Pastor’s daughters, they learned quickly how powerful worship and music are in our churches. They see NATS as just as another opportunity to use their voices as instruments of praise. Singing together at NATS will be such an honorable and humbling experience, because as sisters and best friends they get to do make a joyful noise unto the Lord together.

If you group could sing anywhere in the world where would that be?
“In the brand new church building we’re claiming on the church’s prime property in Tallahassee.”
