What would you tell someone who is thinking about entering the Talent Search – Worship Arts next year?
In 2015, I tried out for the Talent Search.  I made it through the first round, but was evidently not as awesome as my fellow Texans, Kenley Burkett & the Bonillas. 😉   I’m not going to lie, it upset me even though I was very happy for them.  I almost didn’t try out this year, but my friends encouraged me to try again, and here I am!  So, keep trying over and over again until you  get to where you want to be!

If you had the attention of the world, what would you say to them?
In our local high school, the suicides of several young students rocked our community this last  year.    This tragic flaw in our society has broken my heart.  If I could say anything, it would be, “You are beautiful.  You are worth more.”  I want to give a shout out to everyone that has ever been bullied, but especially our gorgeous, holy, clean-faced, skirt-wearing, long-hair-don’t-care kind of girls!  As we all return back to school next year, I want you to remember the lyrics of this song.  It doesn’t matter where you are, what you’ve done, or how hopeless your situation may be, He will come to you wherever you are, if you just call him.  “I need You now…”
